Having a senior portrait session with a professional photographer should be a fun and empowering experience -- AND it should be one that results in pictures that showcase your unique personality.
Helpful tips to help your student get ready and be prepared for picture day.

What to wear...You should bring 3-6 different outfits to your session. It's always great to have different options, even if we don't shoot them all. Think about colors that compliment your skin and hair. Think about necklines, fabric textures, lace, etc...typically clothes that fit close to your body, no matter your body type, are more flattering in photos.

How to pick your location...It can be difficult to choose the "right" location for you. We definitely have some options for places we love, but do some research, see if there is anything that resonates with you. If you can't find that right location, but have an idea of what you're looking for, let us know! We may have just the right place for you.

To prop or not to prop...Yes! Prop! If that is your thing. You can bring music instruments, sports/dance gear, really anything related to your hobbies or interests.

Appearance...Wear makeup, don't overdo, but put on a little extra. Please arrive camera ready, the more time we have to shoot, the better! Don't worry if you wake up with a blemish, let us take care of that on our end.
